మొన్న నేను ఆఫీసునించి రూముకి బస్సులో వెళ్తున్నా. మాధాపూర్ నించి మా రూము 14 కిలోమీటర్లు. అందుకే రోజు బస్సు ఎక్కి నిద్రపొవటం నా అలవాటు. అలాగే మొన్న కూడా నిద్రపొతుంటే మసబ్ టాంక్ దగ్గర బస్సు ఆపేసారు. నేను నిద్రలేచి ఎందుకు అని అలొచించేలొపే ఒక కానిస్టేబుల్ వచ్చి "బ్యాగ్గు తెరిచి చూపించండి" అని అడిగాడు. నేను అలానే చేసాను. బస్సులో అందరివి చూసి వాళ్ళు వెళ్ళిపొయారు. కాని వాళ్ళ ఆలొచన నా మనసు నించి వెళ్ళలేదు.
ఇప్పట్లో టిఫిన్ బాక్స్ బాంబులని, మానవ బాంబులని ఉగ్రవాదులు ఏన్నొ కొత్త విధాలలో దాడి చేస్తుంటే వాటిని ఎదుర్కొటానికి పొలీసులకి వున్నవి అరకొర మెటలు డిటెక్టర్లు, పొలీసు కుక్కలు. మా బస్సు లో ఎక్కిన వాళ్ళకి ఐతే ఆ సదుపాయాలు కూడా లేవు. మా బస్సులో కనుక ఇలాంటి బాంబు ఏదైనా ఉండి ఉంటే అందరము ఈ పాటికి పొయుండెవాళ్ళం. మా సంగతి ఇప్పటికి పక్కన పెడితే ఆ చెకింగ్ కి వచ్చిన పొలీసులకి తెలుసు వాళ్ళ దగ్గర వున్న ఆయుధాలు ఎందుకు పనికి రావు అని.. ఒక వేళ నిజంగా అక్కడ తీవ్రవాది ఉండి ఉంటే వాడి దగ్గర తుపాకి అన్నా ఉండి ఉంటుంది దానిని ఆ కానిస్టబుల్ లాఠితో ఎలా ఎదుర్కొగలడు??
ఒకవేళ ఎక్కడన్నా ఒక బాంబు పేలితే వచ్చే మొదటి విమర్శ "ఇది కేవలం నిఘా వర్గాల వైఫల్యం" లేక పొతే "ఇది మన పోలీసు వారి వైఫల్యం". ఈ విమర్శలు చేసేది మంత్రులు ఇంకా మీడియా వాళ్ళు. ఏ బాంబు పెలేదాక వాళ్ళ వైఫల్యాలు ఎందుకు గుర్తించలేక పోతోంది ప్రభుత్వం ఇంకా మీడియా.. ఎన్ని స్కాములని రహస్య కెమెరాలతో చిత్రించి చూపించే మీడియా తీవ్రవాదులని ఎందుకు బందించలేక పోతోంది తమ రహస్య కెమెరాలలో?
ప్రాణాలకి తెగించి చెకింగ్ చేస్తున్న ఆ పోలీసు వాళ్ళకి ఎందుకు అత్యాదునిక పరికరాలు లేవు దీని మీద ఎందుకు అసెంబ్లీ ఆపారు. ప్రాణం కన్నా ప్రాంతమో డాములో పెద్దవా? పోలీసు బాగోగులు గురించి గమనించాల్సిన బాధ్యత ప్రభుత్వానికి లేదా? వారికి పెద్ద జీతాలు ఎలాగో ఇవ్వరు కనీసం వారికి ఆధునిక పరికరలిచ్చి అయినా సహకరించారా? అందుకే నాకు అనిపించింది "పాపం హైదరాబాదు పోలీసులు :( "

right point phani.. the police absolutely have no security.. its not new of course - terrorists targeting places.. they upgraded their weapons from a small gun to the latest technologies used in taj blasts (of course by this time they might have got many new weapons) but still our police use the age-old techniques.. entha old is gold anna.. that's not appropriate in this context... the system has to woke up after all they are there for the safety of people (including themselves).. the ??? remains.. how and when?

ReplyDeleteబాగా చెప్పారు.చేసే దమ్ము వీళ్ళకి లేదు.ఒక వేళ ఆ తీవ్రవాది ఖర్మ కాలి వీళ్ళ కెమేరా లకి చిక్కినా ప్రసారం చెయ్యరు.వీటిని పదె పదె చూపించి బ్లాక్ మెయిల్ చెయ్యడానికి ఉండదు కదా,అందుకే ఇలాంటి సాహసాలు సమాజం కోసం పాటు పడే చానెళ్ళు కాని దమ్మున చానెళ్ళు కాని చెయ్యరు.
పోలీసులు సోదాలు జరుపుతోంటే మాత్రం చక్కగా అన్నీ తమకు తెలిసినట్లే చెప్పెస్తారు స్టూడియో లో కూర్చునో లేద ఎక్కడో నిలబడి.పరకాయ ప్రవేశం మన మీడియా కి తెలుసున్నంత గా ఎవరికీ తెలీదు.
నిజమండీ,ఎంత తీలికగా అనేస్తామో ఈ పోలీసులు ఏమి చేస్తున్నారు అని.తన దగ్గర ఉన్న లాఠీ తోనే ముంబై లో తీవ్రవాదులని ఎదుర్కొన్న పోలీసు వీడియో చూసి కళ్ళు చెమర్చాయి నాకు.
Lets question the media first which is more interested in increasing their TRP's than focusing to bring the awareness among the public to report any anti social activities, any left out bags/vehicles, any new tenant joining the house etc. to the nearest police station/toll free number which can avoid possible mishap. Who knows that information can save us from the disaster!!! They should conduct public debates on such public awareness pro grammes rather than publicizing the politicians.
ReplyDeleteIts not the Police department to be blamed, the Government for not allocating the appropriate budget to modernize and bring new reforms in the police department. How far the technology advancement is being utilized by the police department and the anti social elements is an undebatable fact.
Lets give the moral support to the Police department to serve us better.

మీరు చెప్పింది నిజమండి పనికిరాని సానియా పెళ్ళి కోసం పది రోజులు ప్రొగ్రాములు చేస్తారు కాని పనికి వచ్చే ఇస్రొ ప్రయొగాల గురించి లేక పోతే గిట్టుబాటు ధర రాక ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకున్న రైతు అలా చెయటానికి గల కారణాలని కాని వళ్ళ కి గిట్టుబాటు ధర రానివ్వకుండా అడ్డుపడుతున్న దళారులు కనపడరు.
